make sense of this (2006)

make sense of this:
there are 2 realities -

the homegrown one in your body,
where consciousness develops & grows
(with all the senses)
where thought is the by-product
of brain development,

& then the other reality:

the outer regions beyond the corpus
where we & animals dwell:
the space that exists regardless if our
brains are switched on or not,
whether consciousness identifies it
or not

the permanent, dynamic, machinating
reality of the cosmos
earthquakes &
volcanoes: with its building &
destroying process,
in a long millennial drama being
played out

there are 2 realities: the inner,
and the outer

and where do they meet - their
interface? physically, it is at the skin,
and the reach of vision and sound,
& smell - beyond that is the outer
world

theoretically, both realities may come from
the same overarching source, from
one beginning, or that
both realities are linked someway in design
but whose function is not yet understood
by our limited knowledge of things
at this stage in our development

this morning i awoke from dream
and noticed the spiritual interface
between the two realities:
felt the cosmic wind against my
cosmic skin

i knew i was a single thought-machine
in the vastness of the moving other
reality, and that i am just biding time:
building bank accounts,
reading magazine articles,
switching off sitcoms

is there really an organic
"morality" in biding time
more usefully,
say by encouraging others
to reach their dreams
& sharing our peace & security?

&: who is measuring this moralistic
growth - some outer being?

does it matter? once you
realize you are just biding time, its
your own measure of 'moral' growth
that counts

it solves the: what's the point?
question.
